Jeddah Waterfront

The concept focuses on creating a ‘water front’ which combines the planning theories of the green and sustainable development. The vision plan supplies the framework for the massing and location of the program elements of the site, building heights and size and relationship to one another. It includes guidelines for infrastructure, transportation, sus- tainability standards and security strategies.
The vision includes Mixed-use towers, Office towers, Hotels, Residential Apartments, a Transportation Hub, Visitors Pavilion, Museum, Sporting facilities etc., each with its own architect, providing a collaborative agenda for the masterplan. The vision embodies ideals of sustainable city development by establishing a pedestrian friendly environment with dense mixed-use programming and public transportation connectivity.
